How do Google ads work?
Every search triggers an auction that takes a fraction of a second. The winner is not the highest bidder but the ad that best combines bid and quality. That is why a well-managed account can rank higher at a lower cost.
Users search or watch
From someone typing “emergency locksmith” into Google to someone watching a product review on YouTube, every touchpoint is an ad opportunity.
An auction in milliseconds
Google weighs your bid, ad relevance, expected click-through rate and landing page experience together to decide your position.
Pay per click
With Search ads you usually pay only when someone clicks. Budget, location, schedule and device settings keep spend under your control.
Learning from conversions
As form, call, WhatsApp and sales conversions are reported to Google accurately, automated bidding shifts towards your most valuable users.
In depth: Google Ads guide
What does our Google Ads management include?
Launching campaigns is the small part of the job. The real difference comes from accurate tracking and consistent weekly optimization.
Search campaigns
Keywords grouped by intent, responsive search ads, sitelinks, call and location assets.
Performance Max
Controlled automation with asset groups, audience signals, brand exclusions and search term insights.
Shopping and Merchant Center
Product feed setup, fixing feed errors, product title optimization and category-level budget allocation.
YouTube and video ads
Short video concepts, video campaign setup and viewer audiences for the awareness and consideration stages.
Display and remarketing
Remarketing that reaches visitors who did not convert again through Display and YouTube.
Conversion tracking setup
GA4, Google Tag Manager, enhanced conversions, call and WhatsApp events, and offline conversion imports from your CRM where needed.
Negative keywords and budget control
Weekly search term reviews, negative lists, schedule and device settings, bidding strategy and budget pacing.
Landing pages and reporting
Landing page recommendations that match the ad’s promise, and a clear monthly report showing cost per conversion.
Why does tracking come before campaigns?
Google’s automated bidding strategies optimize for the conversions reported to them. If calls, WhatsApp clicks and form submissions are not measured correctly, the system rewards the wrong users. So in every account we test GA4, Tag Manager and enhanced conversions first, and only then switch on the budget.
What will you see in the monthly report?
Beyond spend, clicks and impressions, the numbers that matter: conversions, cost per conversion, which searches brought in leads by campaign and keyword, negative keywords added and the tests planned for next month. We summarize the technical terms in plain language.
Do you know where your ad budget is going?
We will review your current account and share, free of charge, the wasted searches, missing conversion tracking and quick wins we find.

We lower costs through search terms, bids and ad tests, and scale the campaigns that work.
Which Google Ads campaign type is right for you?
Not every business needs every campaign type. We choose based on your goal, your product mix and the data and creative assets you have.
| Campaign | When to use it? | What does it need? |
|---|---|---|
| Search | Users actively searching for your service | Keywords, ad copy, landing page |
| Performance Max | Conversion goals across several Google channels | Reliable conversion data, image and video assets |
| Shopping | Online stores selling products | Merchant Center and a clean product feed |
| YouTube / Video | Awareness, product explainers, remarketing | A short video that lands the message in the first seconds |
| Display | Reaching site visitors again | Remarketing lists and banner creatives |

Who is Google Ads the right channel for?
Whenever your customers type their need into Google, Search ads can step in. It is the fastest channel in sectors where the need is urgent and decisions are quick.
- Urgent local services: repairs, maintenance, healthcare
- Online stores that sell products and can use Merchant Center
- Hotels and tourism businesses that want direct bookings
- B2B companies collecting quote or demo requests
- New brands that want sales while SEO builds up
- Businesses serving specific cities or districts
Common mistakes that waste budget
- Campaigns without tracking: using automated bidding without conversion tracking sends the system after the wrong goal.
- Missing negative keywords: irrelevant searches can eat up a large share of the budget.
- Sending traffic to the homepage: a landing page that does not match the ad’s promise lowers both conversions and quality.
- Wrong location setting: the “people interested in your target location” option can bring clicks from areas you do not serve.
- Account opened in the agency’s name: if the account and data are not yours, you lose all history when you leave.

Frequently asked questions about Google Ads management
What is Google Ads management?
Google Ads management is setting up, measuring and continuously improving ads shown in Google search results, on YouTube, in Gmail and on Google’s partner sites. Choosing campaign types, structuring keywords and audiences, writing ads, bidding strategy, conversion tracking, cleaning up negative keywords and allocating budget are all part of the job. The goal is not to collect clicks but to bring measurable customers and sales.
What is the minimum budget for Google ads?
There is no mandatory minimum spend in Google Ads; you set the daily budget. However, a very low budget cannot gather enough clicks and conversions for the system to learn. The right starting budget is calculated from click costs in your sector, your target region and how many leads you expect per month. In the first call we use Google Keyword Planner data to estimate a realistic budget range; the management fee is set separately based on scope.
Whose name is the ad account in?
The account is always opened in your name with your billing details, and you pay Google directly. We connect to it with admin access. That way your ad history, conversion data and audience lists stay with you, and you never start from scratch if you change agencies. If you already have an account, we audit it first and restructure it step by step without breaking working campaigns or learned data.
What is Performance Max and is it right for every business?
Performance Max is a campaign type that serves ads across Search, YouTube, Display, Discover, Gmail and Maps inventory from a single campaign using Google’s automation. With accurate conversion data and good image and text assets it can perform strongly. But in accounts with weak tracking or very little data it can spend budget on low-quality traffic. That is why in most accounts we gather data with Search first and add Performance Max afterwards.
What do Google Shopping ads require?
Shopping ads require your products to be uploaded to Google Merchant Center with an accurate product feed. Fields such as title, description, price, availability, image and GTIN must be complete and match the price and stock on your site exactly. A returns policy, contact details and a secure checkout also matter for Merchant Center approval. Feed setup, error fixing and title optimization are part of our service.
Why is conversion tracking so important?
Google’s automated bidding works only as well as it knows which clicks turn into sales or leads. Without conversion tracking, or with a broken setup, the system rewards cheap but worthless clicks. We set up GA4, Google Tag Manager, enhanced conversions, and call and WhatsApp click events, and where possible feed real sales data from your CRM back into Google Ads.
What is Quality Score and how does it affect ad costs?
Quality Score is a diagnostic rating from 1 to 10 based on your keywords’ expected click-through rate, ad relevance and landing page experience. It is not used directly in the auction, but the same components affect your ad rank and what you pay per click. Aligning the keyword, the ad copy and the landing page around the same promise is the healthiest way to lower costs.
What are negative keywords for?
Negative keywords stop your ads from showing for irrelevant searches. For a business that sells, searches containing “free”, “second hand” or “jobs” can waste budget. We review the search terms report regularly and add those queries to negative lists. Especially in accounts using broad match and Performance Max, this clean-up is one of the most important routines for budget efficiency.
When will I start seeing results?
Once ads are approved, impressions and clicks start the same day. However, automated bidding strategies spend the first few weeks in a learning period and costs can fluctuate. A meaningful evaluation usually needs 4–8 weeks of data. In the first month we solidify tracking accuracy, search terms and ad copy; from the second month we shift budget to the best-converting campaigns.
Google Ads or social media ads?
Google Ads captures users who are actively searching for what they need; demand already exists and intent is high. Instagram and Facebook ads create demand based on interests before the user starts searching. For urgent services Google usually comes first; for visual products and new brands Meta ads are strong. For most businesses, running both on the same conversion tracking gives the best results.
