Frequently asked questions

The most common questions about packages, pricing, delivery time and technical support.

What is prohibited on a lawyer’s website under the Turkish Bar Associations’ advertising ban?

Article 55 of the Attorneys’ Act No. 1136 and the TBB professional rules and advertising regulation govern lawyers’ advertising in Turkey. Prohibited: 1) fee information (hourly, per case, fixed prices); 2) promises such as “the best lawyer in Turkey” or “guaranteed win”; 3) client names and testimonials (a confidentiality issue); 4) comparisons with other lawyers or firms; 5) phrases like “free consultation”, “discount” or “campaign”; 6) attention-seeking visuals (won cases, photos with judges, etc.); 7) client-related content on social media. Allowed: lawyers’ education and certificates, bar membership, academic articles and case law commentary, practice area descriptions, the firm’s story, team and address. The content is reviewed by the firm’s responsible lawyer, and we build an architecture that will not cause problems in a bar review.

Can we publish articles and a blog, and within what limits?

Yes. Publishing articles is not prohibited by the TBB; academic publishing is actually encouraged. Limits: 1) do not refer to specific cases, ongoing or closed; 2) avoid statements like “we won this case”; 3) do not hint at specific clients. Allowed: commentary on new legislation, the effects of legal changes, Court of Cassation and Constitutional Court case law, explanations of legal processes (guides such as how divorce proceedings work or how to prepare a commercial contract) and international legal developments. This content is both compliant and valuable for SEO: articles on topics like severance pay calculation or inheritance division attract organic traffic and position you as an expert. Publishing regularly over the long term is what builds this visibility.

How is KVKK compliance handled for a law firm, and how is client information protected?

Under KVKK, law firms act as data controllers and must register with VERBİS and take specific measures. Client information (identity, case details, financial situation, health data) can fall into the special category. On the website we implement: 1) data minimisation on the contact form (only name, email, phone and a short subject; case details are discussed by phone, not on the site); 2) a comprehensive privacy notice linked at the top of the form; 3) an unticked explicit consent checkbox; 4) a cookie banner for analytics and marketing cookies; 5) encrypted storage of form data with automatic deletion after 90 days; 6) secure storage guidance for email attachments; 7) a clear framework for attorney–client confidentiality. If you add a client portal for case tracking, we support it with two-factor authentication and audit logs.

How should we set things up for international clients? Do we need multiple languages?

Firms targeting international clients usually fall into four groups: 1) international trade and investment law, where English is essential and German, Russian and Arabic are valuable; 2) real estate and foreign investor law, especially in Antalya, Bodrum and Istanbul, with Russian and English first; 3) citizenship and residence permits, where English, Arabic and Russian matter; 4) family law (divorce, inheritance, prenuptial agreements) in marriages with a foreign spouse, where English is key. Language versions are URL-based (/en/, /ru/) with hreflang tags. Content published in a foreign language by a lawyer practising in Turkey should relate to the client’s matters in Turkey; commenting on another country’s law is limited by professional ethics. We work with professional legal translators, because terms like defendant, plaintiff, jurisdiction and statute of limitations must be used correctly, and automatic translation seriously damages credibility.

What do you recommend instead of an online booking form? Can we offer free consultations?

Advertising “free consultations” is strictly prohibited under the TBB rules, but a consultation request form is fully legal. We recommend a “Consultation Request” form: the prospective client sends their name, phone, email and a short outline of their matter (3–4 lines), the firm calls back within a day or two and books a meeting if appropriate. The form is KVKK-compliant, contains no fee information or promises and is fully compliant. On top of that: 1) a WhatsApp Business line for urgent matters, with a confidentiality note that details are discussed in person or by video; 2) an online appointment system showing the lawyer’s availability so clients can book a time slot; 3) a public Q&A archive of frequently asked legal questions (general explanations, not analysis of specific cases), which also helps SEO. We set up all three layers together.

How is the price for Lawyer Website Design determined?

The price depends on the project scope: number of pages, integrations, multilingual needs, custom modules and the amount of content. We share the exact figure after a short call — use our Get a Free Quote page for a tailored offer.

How do you manage projects across Türkiye?

About 90% of our clients are outside Alanya and Antalya, in different cities across Türkiye. We meet over Google Meet, Zoom or WhatsApp and keep the process transparent and trackable in our project management panel. Wherever you are, design, development, content and launch can all be run professionally and remotely.
