Compliance is the most critical part of building a clinic website. The Ministry of Health advertising rules draw clear lines around “guaranteed results”, superlatives, before/after photos and patient video testimonials. We build a showcase that stays within those lines while still building patient trust.

The most common questions about packages, pricing, delivery time and technical support.
Clinic websites in Turkey are restricted by the Ministry of Health’s advertising regulation and the rules of medical deontology. Not allowed: 1) absolute success claims such as “the best in Turkey”, “guaranteed results” or “100% success”; 2) displaying patient before/after photos without consent or in a misleading way (especially in aesthetics); 3) discounts, campaigns and package pricing (particularly sensitive for aesthetic clinics); 4) comparative statements (“better than clinic X”); 5) promises of non-medical treatments. Allowed: doctors’ education and certificates, treatment descriptions (method, process, recovery), scientific publications, and photos of the clinic and equipment. Every treatment page can be reviewed by your compliance adviser, and we plan the content to build maximum trust within these limits. Non-compliance can lead to warnings or administrative fines from the provincial health directorate.
The appointment system works in three layers. First, doctor calendars: weekly working hours, days off and breaks are defined in the admin panel and the system generates availability automatically. Second, treatment durations: each treatment has an average duration (for example a check-up 30 minutes, an implant 90 minutes), and the system blocks that time when a patient books. Third, the patient interface: the patient picks a treatment and doctor, sees available slots on a calendar, chooses one, enters contact details, reads the privacy notice and the appointment is created. The clinic is notified instantly, and the patient gets an SMS or WhatsApp reminder 24 hours before. If you already use clinic management software with an API, we integrate with it so appointments land directly in your system; a standalone setup is also possible.
Article 6 of KVKK (Turkey’s data protection law) classifies health data as special category personal data, which requires explicit consent and stronger protection. On the website we implement: 1) a privacy notice linked on every patient and appointment form, covering purpose, legal basis, sharing, retention and rights; 2) a separate, unticked explicit consent checkbox for every form that collects health data; 3) a cookie banner for analytics and marketing cookies (Google Consent Mode v2 compatible); 4) encrypted storage of health data forms on the clinic’s server, with automatic deletion at the end of the legally required retention period; 5) a process for notifying the authority within 72 hours in case of a data breach; 6) guidance on the clinic’s VERBİS registration. If you take online payments via iyzico or PayTR, we also cover PCI-DSS, so card data never touches your server.
Turkey is one of the world’s leading medical tourism destinations, especially for hair transplants, aesthetics, dental and eye treatments. For clinics targeting international patients, TR, EN, AR and RU are the minimum language set, and German can be important in Istanbul and Antalya. The international patient’s journey starts with searches such as “hair transplant Turkey”, “veneers Istanbul” or “rhinoplasty Antalya”. To rank for them you need: 1) separate URL structures for English and Arabic (/en/, /ar/) with hreflang; 2) Schema.org MedicalProcedure and Physician markup; 3) English content such as treatment guides and compliant case information; 4) international reviews and integration with review platforms; 5) WhatsApp Business for international patient communication; 6) package pages for airport transfers, hotel arrangements and interpreter services. This foundation is set up in the first months, and organic traffic builds over time.
Yes, but the regulatory limits are clear. Turkey’s regulation on remote healthcare services made telemedicine legal under certain conditions: 1) it can only be delivered through telehealth providers authorised by the Ministry of Health; 2) the doctor–patient relationship generally needs to be established face to face first, so follow-ups are possible online but not a first examination; 3) video consultations must run on an encrypted, KVKK-compliant platform; 4) prescribing via telemedicine is limited. Opening a direct video call from your website is not compliant, but an “online pre-assessment form” (the patient sends complaints, photos and history; the clinic replies and suggests an in-person appointment if appropriate) is fully legal and widely used in medical tourism. We set up this form in a KVKK-compliant way.

Turkey’s Ministry of Health advertising rules set clear limits for clinic websites on prices, before/after photos and “guaranteed” claims. We build your site within those limits, with a content architecture that still earns patient trust.
